Speech Exerpts
Welcome everyone and let's get started...the following excerpts are from a speech I gave 3 days ago to a group of business owners and execs. "There is a direct parallel between sports and business. How we prepare, structure and implement and 'action plan' is closely related... the critical path from start to finish. More and more of society accepts failure, 'excuse zone' than success. If you accept failure it will find you...if you accept success you will find it. Competitors w/a negative attitude (whiners, complainers) are doomed to fail. Men and women with a positive attitude rise up to reach that coveted platform of success, accomplishment. Chronic negative attitude, is taking that 'fail pill.' Failure is a 'weight' that drags you to the bottom pit. Positive attitude is the 'take off' to greater heights than you ever dreamed possible. First to the Finish Line...where winners and survivors always meet." www.secondwindfitnessfilm.com

FUSION
Welcome everyone...competition, sports science, intangibles and the unknown are driving forces to our success. Pay attention to the advances in sports science and especially the mental. I am developing a training program known as Fusion in Sports. Fusion is the art/procedure in the melting together by heat. The merging of different elements union resulting from fusion. You furnish the "heat," Also, you create your DNA. Your passion is the major contributor for the fusion heat process. You create your DNA by selecting five to 10 mental exercises and 10 physical exercises. Record keeping is a must. You may add or change any of the exercises. Select exercises you like and some you don't like. You are creating your own GPS for success. Allow 3/4 weeks to reach a comfort zone. Once you reach "your zone" using muscle memory and muscle confusion...you will reach a much higher level of achievement. If you have questions, go to my web and send question via web. www.secondwindfitnessfilm.com

1 million
Hello and welcome everyone...all too often I hear athletes and
anyone in training complain and whine about having enough time
for training. The blame game always comes into play. Obstacles
and interruptions are a part of life. The road to success will always
be under construction...and so will the road to winning. Stay away
from the "comfort zone." Time is a great ally and it can be our
enemy. The choice is yours. How much time is enough...at doing
anything. I compete in track and field...50m, 100m, 200, HJ and LJ.
I work out 6 days a week for 90 minutes each session. For 45 weeks. That works out to 24,300 minutes. That's 1 million, four
hundred fifty eight thousand seconds. I have just a few seconds to
prove myself. Less than 8 seconds in the 50m, 14 seconds in the
100m, less than 32 seconds in the 200m, and under 71 seconds in
the 400m. Time...how much is enough. I turned 74 on July 3rd.
Have a meaningful life everyone...Jimmy O
