When? NOW!
Welcome everyone...let's get started. Everyone says, "I'm going to start working out, or training, or lose weight, or..." Yah, but when? Stop with all those 'blue sky goals.' You want to be somewhere, the toughest step is the first step...START. So, let's start. We want to align your body...balance is key. At the office, sit on an exercise ball instead of an office chair. Your waistline should be at the same height as the desk top. Just for five min. twice a day. Inside of a one week you will feel a better, stronger balance. Your stomach muscles will begin to tighten. Practice taking deeper breaths. Inside of three weeks, you will do away with the office chair. All future writings (weekly) I will add another tip. www.secondwindfitnessfilm.com

Head for the Beach
Welcome everyone...let's get to it. Ideal for running, swimming, jumping. You can do all three in water and two on sand. All three give you a power workout. Building upper body, quads, leg and kick. Doing various sprints on sands for 20/30 min. will give your quads a 'burn' for2/3 days. Women...if you want tighter (smaller) legs and a larger butt, sprint on sand and uphill if possible. Running in 2/3 ft. of water is also great. Jumping in water shoulder high, straight and kangaroo is a booster. Holding your breath under water will increase (lengthen) your breathing.

Belly Buster
Hello everyone and welcome...one last drill for hard abs. Lie flat on
the floor, legs straight, arms up overhead and hands holding a 12
pound weight (or greater). Now, keeping weight overhead, above
forehead, sit up. If you move your hands downward as you come
up. you are doing it wrong. Do five sets 10 times each. Keeping
the weight over forehead, arms outstretched is key. Attaining rock
hard abs...each drill is based on tightening stomach muscles. So, this drill and the drills posted in last week's blog will put you on
track for rock hard abs. Your hard core will help you reach a higher
level competing and working out. Over the past month we have
covered the importance of meditation, proper breathing, attaining
proper balance and developing your core. These drills will help in
ridding stress...the silent killer. Next week...foods that help reach
peak performance.
