PLYO!

Welcome everyone...my workouts since 2003 for 10 months of the year are 2 hours long...the other 2 months for 1 hour long. In addition from 10/07 to 5/15 I conducted 15 fitness classes each week, w/3 devoted to men and women physically/mentally challenged. So, I have lived what I "preach." I owe a lot to plyometrics. I gained speed, balance, endurance, mental alertness.
When one gains the next level of alertness, you climb to the next level in every facet of skill needed to accomplish your goals. You reach Peak Performance! That's human nature. In my tutoring, I tell my clients not to worry about weight lifting so much. Muscle will come soon enough...Unless that's all you want. Careful about being
muscle bound. That will restrict all your other activities. Give Plyo a chance for 30 days, 3x a week and then feel the results.

Becoming/Evolving

Welcome everyone...I am really fired up today. Response to last week's blog...WOW! Overwhelmed by the positive comments. Thank you!  Having worked with and developed tens of 100's of athletes and others pursuing a healthy living style and competitive achievements..."becoming and evolving and a dream is critical in becoming whole and complete" The building blocks as I see it. Life is made up of Time, distance, ethics, connections, avoid self destruction and dreams. When you stop dreaming, your life disintegrates. Your mental state of mind is your "beacon light." There are three persons in each of us...yesterday, today, tomorrow. Most of us want the tomorrow person. Whether it's you or someone else creating change...change creates conflict, stress, tension and other health related issues. When things don't go as planned, we are quick to revert back to the yesterday person. We fail in becoming and evolving. Mental-Mental-Mental.
Have a great life everyone...Jimmy O

MOTIVATIONAL DNA

Welcome everyone...let's begin this way, "I have done it this way all my life, my mind is made up, now don't confuse me with the facts." Or, if you don't want to get better, stop reading this. OK, for those of you still with me, let's go. Mental toughness update: Tons of research/info re "the mental game" has surfaced and backed (now) and supported by coaches, GMs, ADs and athletes of all ages
and level of play. These same groups who down graded and laughed at previous data are now endorsing certified claims of mental coaches. The sports landscape's battle cry was "just work harder/longer, that's all we need." Yah right. Athletes, coaches and
fans want an edge. For years, "that edge" was ???. You know what
it was. Why is it that anything in a bottle or the end of a needle is
the answer to the EDGE? No one is saying "you don't have to work hard." Now athletes and all the Sports World is embracing " the
NATURAL way...and before you win, you have to prepare." There
are tons of info on this subject matter...get it. The Motivational DNA...being body smart, grinder, patience, daily goals, passion,
winner attitude, vision, expectation, quest for knowledge and prep.
Have a meaningful...Jimmy O
