ICE COLD!!!

Hello and welcome everyone! Water is critical...essential on a daily basis; especially in hot, humid
weather. Research tells us that you can lose up to 30% of your muscle power in hot, humid
weather. Drinking water before your warmup will give you an edge. My assumption here is
that you are already drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. During my warmup and workout
of 90 minutes, I will consume two plus quarts of ice cold water. The colder, the better. The
consumption of water helps to prevent pulled muscles...especially hamstrings. Stretching before,
during and after your workout is just as important. Most people tend to stretch less in hot and
humid weather. Do more frequent stretching and vary your stretches. I add a small amount
of real lemon juice to my water. Drinking eight ounces of water during the first hour after your
workout is a must.

Have a great and meaningful life everyone! Jimmy O
