Hello and welcome everyone! Well, it's that time of year again. Cabin fever and winter blaaaahs.
So now what. This time of year...people get tired of everyone including themselves. When you
say to someone "have a nice day," they look at you and snarl. Oh boy! You will find the answer
to all of this within yourself. It's a challenge, I know, but be yourself...your BEST self. Others will
feel better and think, "I want to be just like that." Meaning you. The mental aspect of your being
is critical in any situation. Examine where you are in life and where you want to be and how you
are going to get there. You will feel better about yourself, your place and what you are about.
GUARANTED! I will close with this...put this same attitude into your fitness/workout program.

Hello and welcome everyone! When something BAD happens, people fall into two
A, "now I have an excuse." Group B, now I have a reason. Excuse equals weakness. Reason equals "against all odds, I will do it." Why is it, some people do not want a challenge. Where as
others accept and embrace a challenge. So what's the difference in the two's the
MINDSET. When we face something out of our "norm," it must be hard to do. Yet people will say
"I like new things." "I want to change." No they don't! Only if they themselves bring about change. When they get around "tuit." MENTAL habits and patterns are hard to change..until
we stop babying our mental conditioning. TO CHANGE, YOU HAVE TO CHANGE. It does not
matter what state in life you are in, blue collar, pro or and I must challenge
ourselves...raise the bar. If we think of ourselves as being greater, we will grow into that
greatness. Don't stop, don't look down...LOOK UP.

Hello and welcome everyone! When I hear people complaining about training, fitness and working out, it "grinds" me the wrong way. My thought is...visit the physically/mentally challanged. See what it means to have a disability. No one should take their health for granted.
Perhaps we should be thankfull for having a healthy body...perhaps. We should develope an
attitude that being able to workout and wanting to workout is a blessing. We should develope
a "role model" attitude for others to follow. How about it folks? The leadership role is yours just
for the asking. Reach out to others and lead them to a richer, healthy life style.

Hello and welcome everyone! KEEP GOING...WE ARE ALMOST THERE! Those words are
prompted by instructors in various fitness classes. After awhile we become numb to those
commands. Instructors need to address "participant boredom" while teaching. Classes need
to be entertaining as well as informative. When I talk to other trainers about this, I hear "well
we run out if things to say and do." Nonsence...that statement tells me trainers do not prepare
for the class. When the instructor and or trainer become mechanical, so does the student.
When fitness/training become routine, the participants find another class or another way.
As a trainer/instructor I need to make that class the highlight of the day for everyone and that
includes me.
