"MINDSET" for senior fitness success

Hello and welcome everyone! Every once in awhile we need to have a talk with ourslves. I call
this "checkpoint." The following assess my mental and physical fitness progress.
* evaluate my attitude...mindset. Am I prepared mentally for each workout?
* review my notebook...what progress have I made over the past 30 days?
* have I achieved my goals for the month? What changes do I need to make?
* have I increased my energy and endurance levels...and my strength?
* what drills (exercises) do I need to add?
* do I change my routine (muscle confusion) each week?
* do I chart my progress daily?
* what are my "must" goals for the next month...the next 3 months? where do I need to be?
The notebook is my map...the "critical path" to success! Beginning March 1st, I will embrace a 3
month goal oriented "critical path." I am preparing for the Senior Olympics and the Nationals.
My notebook (map) keeps me focused...prevents me from "winging" it. Too many of us feel we can wing it. Don't fall into that trap! "Fools gold" will lead you to a deadend. By following your
map, each day will give you a sense of accomplishment...of winning. That feeling ignites and feeds
my positive attitude. We gravitate to a higher level of accomplishment...of being. In summary;
it's CHALLENGE, CHALLENGE, CHALLENGE. Whatever our health issues, within our abilities,
we need to challenge our mental and physical capabilities. That determines our capacity for
growth.

Have a great and meaningful life everyone! Jimmy O
