The Frontier

Welcome everyone...the unknown is the frontier...and always will be. What, how much, what kind, when, and is it right for me, how much. Let's start here...injuries. There is an onslaught of injuries at any level of competitive sport. Why? 1) warm ups, pathetic...what I see, more suitable for ballet, not a knock on ballet...watch their warm ups. You will learn something. 2) warm up motion should be the same as in combat. 3) at least an hour the higher up the ladder you compete...you should work up a sweat. What's your intake of supplements? STOP       guessing. Most people have an intake of 9% to 15%. proteins as am energy source if carb and fat are inadequate. The "smart" do not know how much protein you should take. If protein ingested it is either for energy or converted to fat. Eating excessive amount of protein or carbs...can increase body fat So...have a blood test and tell your primary doctor what you want to accomplish.
