#belly reducer
Welcome everyone...follow up to last session (2). Getting rid of fat...place a 5-10 lb. wt. in each hand, stand with feet about 8-10 inches apart, hold weights about 6-8 inches from legs and swivel in each direction as far as possible. Do no move hips, move only from waist up...and twist. When you get as far as you can in one direction...snap to other direction. Do for 60 sec., rest for 30 sec. 10 sets. Now do 10 sets while moving hips. Increase weights at will. You can also do this with broom handle or any object by placing arms against body, bend elbows and slide handle inside of elbows and twist as in other drill. If possible, do in front of mirror. Twist/snap are keys. Next writing "high wire drill." www.secondwindfitnessfilm.com.

Record Breaker
Welcome everyone...for the past 15 years I have designed and published three blogs a week. Besides this one, I publish a business and sales/marketing blog. Last week's blog, 'Full Body,' garnered the most 'clicks' for any of the three blogs ever. To my long time loyal and new readers...thank you. So, let's get started and let's work on that belly. My opinion...sit ups and crunches are over rated...just rolls that ugly fat. 1) on an incline (upper body lower0, hands to your sides or on your chest and raise upper body 3/5 inches and hold for 30 sec., rest for 15 sec. Do 5/10 sets every other day. You tighten those stomach muscles rather than rolling the fat around. You want to feel a burn. 2) on your back, flat surface, legs straight, soccer ball in hands and hands straight above your forehead and raise up to sitting position, keeping legs straight. When coming up DO NOT lower soccer ball lower than forehead. 10 x equals one set. Do five sets. Do every other day. Measure waist prior to starting this program, and then after session. You will feel results after one session and see results after three sessions Next writing, two more. www.secondwindfitnessfilm.com

CHISELED/cut
Welcome everyone...much of society covers up what they don't want the public to see. That would be the tummy and wrinkles for the most part. Translation..."hide and seek." To be transparent, takes passion, dedication and anger. By the way, women have the edge over men in getting chiseled. The tummy...I'm not a fan of sit ups and crunches...that only rolls the fat. Tighten that stomach first. Start with laying flat on your stomach w/elbows parallel too shoulders and push up off your elbows and toes. Keep your butt and back level. Hold for count of 20 or 30. 10 sets. Next move elbows forward 3/4 inches. Repeat same as above. Next move elbows another couple of inches and repeat the above. Next, on your back, legs together and straight and raise to a 45 degree and upper body up and reach out and touch your toes (or as far as you can) and hold for count of 20. 10 sets. Next, staying on your back, holding an 8 lb. med. ball, legs straight out and together, hold med. ball straight up from your forehead, raise your upper body to a 45 degree and KEEPING the ball above your head...that's the KEY. 20 sets. Next week...another 3. www.secondwindfitnessfilm.com.

ATP (recap)
Hello and welcome everyone...let's make this simple. Muscles run on ATP, and we have three ways of making ATP.
1) The aerobic system...A) makes lots of ATP slowly. B) Burns fat
and sugar to make ATP. C) Is oxygen dependent. D) Gives endless
energy. 2) The lactate system...A) Makes less ATP but does it fast.
B) Burns only sugar to make ATP. C) Requires no oxygen. D) Yields up to seven minutes of energy. 3) The creatine-phosphate
system. A) Makes small amounts of ATP super fast. B) ATP comes
from stored ATP and creatine-p inside muscle. C) Does not need
oxygen, fat or sugar to function. D) Lasts ten seconds. Understanding the three systems will allow you to design an effective training program. It will help you understand when and
what to eat. It gives you the basis for selecting the right length and
intensity of your workouts.
